Custom Metallic Epoxy for an Unforgettable Statement Floor
A High-Contrast Smokey Blend of Midnight Black and Pearl White
We took a standard concrete slab and transformed it into a custom masterpiece using a deep-vein metallic system. The goal was to create a "liquid smoke" effect—balancing heavy saturation of Midnight Black with fluid highlights of Pearl White and Silver Grey. The result is a floor that doesn't just sit there; it moves with the light.

Our 5-Step Transformation Process
Step 1: Diamond Grinding & Prep We don't just "clean" the floor; we use industrial diamond grinders to open the concrete pores. This mechanical profiling is the only way to ensure a lifetime bond.
Step 2: Crack & Joint Repair We chase out cracks and fill divots with high-strength epoxy menders. This creates a perfectly seamless "canvas" before any color is poured.
Step 3: Moisture Barrier Primer A specialized epoxy primer is applied to seal the slab. This prevents "outgassing" (bubbles) and blocks moisture from pushing the floor up later.
Step 4: The Artistry Pour This is where the magic happens. We pour 100% solids metallic epoxy and hand-manipulate the pigments to create the custom "liquid smoke" or marble effects unique to your space.
Step 5: High-Performance Topcoat We finish with a clear, industrial-grade topcoat (Urethane or Polyaspartic). This locks in the design and provides a scratch-resistant, UV-stable surface that’s easy to clean.

This project demanded a balance of high-end aesthetics and rugged functionality. We transformed this clean garage space from standard grey concrete to a luminous showpiece. The client wanted a clean, bright feel but with a unique, custom edge.
Using a precise multi-color metallic system, we hand-manipulated flowing veins of Pearl White and Midnight Grey, creating organic, marble-like movement across the entire floor. To give the project its specific character, we added a very limited, subtle vein of Deep Wine-Red, which catches the light perfectly and makes this floor truly one-of-a-kind. It’s now a durable, seamlessly solid surface that instantly elevates the entire home.

Our 5-Step Transformation Process
Step 1: Diamond Grinding & Surface Repair We began by mechanically profiling the concrete using industrial diamond grinders. This removes laitance and opens the "pores" of the concrete to ensure the epoxy fuses into the slab, not just sits on top of it.
Step 2: High-Solid Tinted Primer We applied a specialized moisture-vapor barrier primer tinted in a neutral tone. This creates a solid "canvas" and prevents air bubbles (outgassing) from ruining the metallic finish.
Step 3: The Metallic Base Pour A thick layer of Pearl White metallic epoxy was poured across the entire floor. While the resin was still fluid, we ribboned in Midnight Grey to create the primary "smoke" movement.
Step 4: Artistic Veining (The Wine-Red Accent) Using specialized tools and denatured alcohol dispersions, we hand-manipulated a deep Wine-Red pigment into the wet epoxy. This creates those organic, razor-thin veins that mimic natural stone.
Step 5: High-Gloss Protective Shield Once the metallic layer cured, we applied a crystal-clear, UV-stable topcoat. This protects the art from "ambering" (yellowing) over time and provides industrial-grade resistance against hot tires and chemicals.
